There are 4 parking spots for vehicles and one boat trailer (you cannot have more than one boat at this property). The kitchen and bathroom are well-stocked with everything you need and there's a neighborhood beach just down the street! Located at mile marker 55, in the heart of Marathon, Dockside Retreat is your perfect vacation spot!
There are lights inside the Tiki Hut so you can enjoy the space in the evening as well! There is a green light under the water at the dock. The house also has a pack n play, mattress, baby sheets, baby gate, high chair and booster seat! We provide hand soap, bath bar soap, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, stain remover, bleach, kitchen sponge/scrubby, trash bags, TP, PT, basic kitchen/bath cleaner bath, pool/beach towels and all bed linens. We also provide two propane tanks for the grill.
This is a vacation rental and the entire home (half the duplex) and property are for the exclusive use of the guests. This property is unit 1. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 baths on each side. Each side has it's own pool/parking. We have a pin pad on the door and the code will be provided shortly before your arrival. The entire Unit 2, the pool, half the dock (no charge), and parking (4 spots) are available for the guest. The dock accommodates a 35 foot boat max. Each unit has one side of the dock for its private use. There is covered parking for two vehicles and additional parking for more cars and/or a boat trailer. There are 4 spots total -so 3 cars and one trailer max, or 4 cars. You cannot have two boats at this property.
As the property manager, I am available throughout your stay for any questions, needs, or recommendations. You will be able to call or text me directly, day and evening, 7 days a week! If I am needed at the property, I will certainly make myself available any time!
Angler's at Sombrero is a newer development on Sombrero Beach Road, just down the street from Sombrero Beach - a beautiful oceanfront beach! Sandy beaches are not common in the Keys, so it a real asset to have an oceanfront sandy beach just down the street! There is a sidewalk all along Sombrero Beach Road where you can bike, exercise, or walk to the beach! About two minutes from the grocery store (Publix and Winn Dixie), a minute or so from the beach, and less than 10 minutes from any of the amazing restaurants and activities in Marathon, the location is perfectly centrally located! Only an hour from Key West and about 20 minutes from Bahia Honda State Park, you can easily make day trips!
We recommend that you have a car during your stay in the Keys.
We provide TP, PT, hand, dish soap, bath bar soap, laundry pods, laundry detergent, trash bags, basic kitchen/bath cleaner, dishwasher detergent that should be enough to last a week. We also provide all the bed linens, baths, and pool/beach towels and two propane tanks.
It is mandatory that the guest manage their trash throughout their stay. A Pineapple Properties team member will take the cans to the street for pick up on trash days and also return them to the spot where they belong. You just need to ensure your trash is taken to the cans and does not pile up during your stay.
We do ask that you clean the grill to the best of your ability before you leave. Do you not use charcoal in the grill as it is a gas grill.
$45 Management Fee is Damage Insurance covering up to 3k in damages.
The pool can be heated or chilled for a fee of $ 125 per 7 days, plus tax and credit card fees as applicable. Prorated for longer stay.
Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Dockside Retreat, #247-2, is managed by Meredith Tracy, Pineapple Properties of the Florida Keys. 407.733.2128. Meredith is a Property Manager and owns Pineapple Properties of the Florida Keys. She is thrilled to represent the owners. Meredith is a fifth-generation native Floridian, Meredith's first visit to the Florida Keys was 35 years ago when she was 18 years old. She went sport fishing with the legendary Captain Skip Bradeen in Islamorada, explored the islands from Key Largo to Key West, and was hooked! Meredith, her husband Barry, a realtor, and their children enjoyed vacationing in the keys for many years and after raising their family in Winter Park, Florida, Barry and Meredith moved here full time! She loves helping guests with personal recommendations of all her favorite spots to help make their vacation better than they ever imagined!
